Kayla
Veterinary Assistant
Kayla began her career in Veterinary medicine at the young age of 19, fueled by curiosity and a deep love for animals. She started at a mixed animal/exotic practice where she got to work with a wide variety of critters including but not limited to, dogs and cats, raptors, reptiles and the occasional venomous snake.
After quite some time on the clinic floor, she hit a pause on her veterinary career to explore the world alongside her husband. They packed their bags, said “see you later” to Oregon, and set off on an unforgettable adventure. Traveling together not only reignited her sense of wonder but also deepened her appreciation for the bond between people and their pets—no matter where you are.
Eventually, life led them to Montana, the Big Sky Country, where her husband (a Montana native) and her fell in love with the sweeping landscapes and tight-knit communities.
In her off time she enjoys Cooking, hiking, spending time with her family and the outdoors.

Julie
Veterinary Assistant
LVT Student
Julie was born and raise in Ennis, Montana, a 4th generation Ennis native. She has always had a love for animals, especially her dog Trigger, her former childhood dogs Tugger and Mylie, and her former horse Cowboy. Julie took Trigger home at 7 weeks old and raised him as a true cow dog on the ranch she worked at up until her injury in 2021. That's when she chose to go back to school to become a certified veterinary technician, adding another degree along side her associates degree in equine studies. Julie always thought she'd be strictly a large animal technician, she even got certified to AI cattle she loved it so much, that is until she came here for her school internship! Not only is she working towards becoming a technician, but she is a part of the Ennis Rodeo Committee, and also the Madison County Cattlewomen Association. She spends her free time riding horses, adventuring with her dog, or singing karaoke with her friends.
